Sydney Simpson Weight Loss Transformation

Sydney Simpson is the youngest daughter of O. J. Simpson. She has successfully lost extra pounds in the past years, which she achieved through a combination of a healthy diet and proper exercise.

Who is Sydney Simpson?

Sydney Simpson has been in the public eye since she was a child. She is known as the daughter of O. J. (Orenthal James Simpson) and Nicole Brown.

Her father gained notoriety for being an NFL (National Football League) star who was accused of killing her wife and her friend in 1994.

Sydney was born on October 17th, 1985. She attended Gulliver Academy in Miami and Boston University, earning her bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

Her ex-boyfriend, Robert Blackmon, describes Sydney as a “very private person”.

He told the Suggest:

“She’s a good friend of mine. The entire Simpson family are great people. They’ve been great friends to me.”

She currently lives in Florida and has three real estate properties. On top of being a successful real estate agent, the 37 years old woman owns a restaurant as well as a company named Simpsy LLC.

While she will always be famous because of her father’s legal issues and ties, Sydney had grown up. It appears that she’s found a way to thrive despite all the challenges she faced.

But what’s most incredible about Sydney Simpson is that despite all of her success, she’s managed to stay grounded.

What Motivated Sydney Simpson to Lose Weight?

Her father’s infamous trial and acquittal in 1994 made her a household name, but it also put Sydney’s life under a microscope.

The case was referred to as “the trial of the century” because of its high-profile nature. O. J. Simpson was charged with killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman after the police found them dead outside her home in Los Angeles.

The case became a media sensation that gripped the nation with its mix of celebrity intrigue, domestic violence, and racial politics.

Simpson was acquitted in 1995 after his lawyer successfully argued he had been framed by police who ignored evidence pointing to another suspect (now deceased).

In 1997, however, he was found liable for their deaths in a civil suit brought by their families.

Sydney, who was only nine years old at the time, unfortunately struggled with depression after her mother’s death.

During her recovery phase, her aunt, Tanya Brown, speaks out to Radar Online

“We don’t talk about it. I’m the aunt that when they come to visit, it’s ‘Let’s go to a movie! Let’s go shopping! Let’s go to the beach!”

She continued:

“They probably talked about it on their own, but when they come to our house we have fun. We don’t need to rehash everything.”

How Did Sydney Simpson Lose Weight?

In recent years, Sydney has been working to shed some pounds that have been weighing her down. In order to do so, she had to make some changes to her diet and exercise routine.

She hired a personal trainer who helped her get back into shape by prescribing a cardio training session and a diet that consisted mostly of vegetables and lean proteins.

This helped her lose weight at a fast rate, which is ideal for most women who want to lose weight without putting their health at risk by starving themselves or doing too many cardio training sessions, which could lead them to overdo it on the treadmill.

Although there’s no information about the specific pounds she lost in the process of getting back into shape, we can tell that she looks great!

On July 2017, one user tweeted

“It’s been 23 years & these days #SydneySimpson all grown up 31 years old she managed to build a decent life for herself. Good Job Sydney!”

We do know that she’s been working hard for years now and is finally getting the recognition she deserves!

Did She Maintain Her Weight Loss?

Sydney Simpson, who lost extra pounds in the past years, has recently gained back all the weight she shed during her recovery phase.

To date, Simpson weighed 70 kg or 154 lbs. She has reportedly been drinking again and is suffering from depression.

Like most people who struggle with depression, she turned to alcohol as a way of dealing with her problems. And that didn’t work out well for her at all!

On May 2018, O. J. Simpson’s daughter was filmed by Radar Online carrying a large bottle of Jose Cuervo tequila with a 12-pack of Rolling beer, which she was trying to hide while walking away from the paparazzi who were trying to take photos of her.

Not only that, Sydney got a lot of backlash online after she was linked to Khloe Kardashian. People began to question whether the two were related to each other.

One user tweeted

“#KloeKardashian has she had a DNA test? #Sydney Simpson image of her. Cud explain why shes big bird to her sisters.”

It seems that Sydney’s weight loss journey might not have been as successful as people expected it to be after all. Her mental health issues may also be keeping her from losing weight in the first place.

Is Exercise Effective for Losing Weight?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that exercise is one of the most effective tools you can use to lose weight.

“When losing weight, more physical activity increases the number of calories your body uses for energy or “burns off.”

CDC continued:

“The burning of calories through physical activity combined with reducing the number of calories you eat, creates a “calorie deficit” that results in weight loss.”

But what kind of exercises are best for weight loss?

Based on the National Institutes of Health, aerobic exercises such as running and swimming are good choices because they help increase your metabolism and burn more calories throughout the day—not just during your workout session itself.

If you’re already working out regularly, don’t stop! It’s never too late to start exercising if it’s something that interests you.
